camp congaree rates

The Congaree Program Center invites all girls ages 5 – 17 to enjoy all that Camp Congaree has to offer, regardless of age, religion, national origin or socio-economic background. There are several different camping opportunities that girls can take part in throughout the summer, and rates vary from program to program. Girls who wish to attend camp do not have to be current Girl Scouts. However, a $10 registration fee will be attached to all other rates to cover individual membership dues.

Camp fees and deposits are not refundable unless the campers selected session is unavailable. At that point, the total camp fee minus the deposit will be refunded. Please keep in mind, refunds will not be given after a session begins. Even more, the council reserves the right to cancel a session three weeks prior to its start date if minimum registrations are not met. If this occurs, all registered campers will be notified.

Girls who meet special financial requirements may be eligible to receive camperships, which are special funds designated to help girls in need cover the costs for attending camp. The council maintains only a limited number of campership, so girls are also encouraged to participate in the annual Girl Scout Cookie Program as a method for supplementing camp fees. Depending on the number of boxes of cookies sold, a girl may earn special awards called Cookie Dough which can be used to offset camp registration fees.
